Case Study
High-control payment workflows connecting Fluxx payment records to team trackers and Power BI dashboards, with a Bill.com invoice intake layer.
Payment data had to serve several needs at once: day-to-day tracking, financial reporting, and budget visibility. Fluxx was the source of truth, but staff still needed easier ways to access live, manipulable data without relying on stale spreadsheet exports.
A controlled sync layer from Fluxx to Monday and SharePoint. Monday gives the team an operational view, and SharePoint Lists provides structured data for Power BI. A narrow set of fields, including state and due date, can update back through restricted paths, while Fluxx remains authoritative. An automated email layer sends invoices to Bill.com for processing.
Payments are high-risk. A missing record or stale status can cause chaos. The work was not just syncing data. It was designing clear authority rules and repair paths when something drifted.
The team gained clearer payment visibility across systems, ditched clunky spreadsheets, and maintained Fluxx as the source of truth.
